Michael Orozco Fiscal has joined Club Tijuana on a permanent transfer from Puebla FC, the Liga MX club announced on Saturday.

"Yes, he is already with us," Xolos head coach Ruben Omar Romano told ESPN.com.mx. "It's a permanent transfer, a purchase on our part."

Orozco, 29, joins the border club after two-and-a-half years at Puebla, including a year under Romano across 2013 and 2014. His rights were owned by Chiapas, but he never played a game for them before Puebla purchased them in the most recent Liga MX Draft.

Romano also dropped a hint as to Orozco's immediate international future, saying, "He is already on his way here, and then he'll leave for the Gold Cup."

Orozco, who has three goals in 16 caps for the US men's national team, was among the 35 players included on head coach Jurgen Klinsmann's preliminary roster for the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup, which takes place from July 7-26. The final, 23-man rosters are due by June 27, although Mexico and Honduras have already announced theirs.
