Women’s World Cup group winners USA and Canada discovered their Round of 16 fates with the completion of group play Wednesday.
The US, winners of Group D following their 1-0 win Tuesday over Nigeria, will face Colombia on Monday in Edmonton (8 pm ET; FOX Sports 1, NBC Universo). Colombia finished third in Group F following their 2-1 loss to England on Wednesday.
Group A winners Canada, who wrapped up group play Monday with a 1-1 draw with the Netherlands, meanwhile, will face Switzerland on Sunday (7 pm ET; FOX Sports 1). Switzerland fell to Cameroon on Tuesday to finish third in Group C.
