ORLANDO CITY SC vs D.C. UNITED
ORLANDO CITRUS BOWL, Orlando, Fla.
June 14, 2015 (WEEK 15, MLS Game #150)
7 p.m. ET (FS1 / FOX Deportes)

Two teams now suddenly in the thick of the Eastern Conference chase for positions meet for a third time this season when Orlando City SC play host to D.C. United on Sunday evening at the Citrus Bowl before a FOX Sports 1 audience. Orlando City extended their undefeated run to four games with a wild 3-2 comeback win at the Chicago Fire last weekend, now sitting in fourth place in the division. United are still atop the East and the MLS overall table, despite having their long home unbeaten run come to an end last week in a 2-1 loss to Toronto FC.

  • The teams are meeting for the third time ever. In the first meeting April 3 at the Citrus Bowl, Luis Silva hit a stunning free kick in second-half stoppage time to give United a 1-0 win. On May 13 at RFK Stadium, Kofi Opare and Chris Rolfe scored nine minutes apart in the second half to cancel out an early Cyle Larin goal as United claimed a 2-1 victory.
  • United had their league home undefeated streak put to an end after 16 games in a 2-1 loss to Toronto FC on Saturday evening at RFK Stadium, the club’s second-longest undefeated run in regular season games in its history. It was their first loss in 20 games in all competitions in the nation’s capital.
  • Orlando City SC made it four games in a row without loss, becoming the fourth team in MLS history to gain two own goals in the same match on their way to a 3-2 win against the Chicago Fire on Saturday evening at Toyota Park.
  • Cyle Larin, the No. 1 overall selection in the 2015 MLS SuperDraft, netted his fifth goal of the year and his fourth over the last six matches in the win vs. Chicago, leading all MLS rookies this year.
