Comedian John Oliver delivers a message on Trinidadian TV

Watch out Jack Warner, the mittens are on.

Comedian and HBO’s Last Week Tonight host John Oliver apparently bought airtime on Trinidad & Tobago television on Tuesday night, urging the embattled ex-FIFA official to “release everything” incriminating he knows about the scandal surrounding the world soccer governing body in a program titled “The Mittens of Disapproval Are On.”

Oliver’s segment comes one week after Warner had paid to broadcast his own message on Trinidadian TV, an eight-minute missive called “The Gloves Are Off” in which he claimed he had proof of FIFA wrongdoing.

As a bonus, Oliver, who is not new to raking FIFA officials over the coals on his show, even dusted off some Trinidadian slang just for the video. Check it out above.
