Save of the Week

Montreal Impact's Evan Bush grabs MLS Save of the Week honors for Week 12 for game-saving stop

The Montreal Impact were able to win their second consecutive game last Saturday night, beating FC Dallas 2-1 at Stade Saputo in large part due to the heroics of goalkeeper Evan Bush

One save in particular was enough for Bush to claim Save of the Week honors for Week 12.

With Montreal leading 2-1 in the 88th minute, FCD midfielder Kyle Bekker found Blas Perez at the back post. The Panamanian forward headed a shot that seemed destined for the back of the net, but Bush had other ideas, making an incredible diving stop to preserve the Impact's lead.

The save garnered almost 50 percent of the vote, far outpacing the rest of the field. Seattle Sounders goalkeeper Stefan Frei finished second with 30.41 percent of the vote.

1. Evan Bush (MTL) - 49.14%
2. Stefan Frei (SEA) - 30.41%
3. Brian Sylvestre (PHI) - 8.82%
4. Steve Clark (CLB) - 5.9%
5. Clint Irwin (COL) - 5.72%
