As of Thursday morning, Sporting Kansas City striker Dom Dwyer’s lovely showcase of finesse, body control and intuitive movement vs. the New England Revolution is in the lead with 33.5 percent of the vote.

The Colorado Rapids’ Lucas Pittinari holds third place, with 22.71 percent of ballots cast for his swiveling side volley vs. the Vancouver Whitecaps. Chris Wondolowski’s historic 100th MLS goal and Alan Gordon’s dramatic late header round out the field with 8.39 percent and 6.66 percent, respectively.
