Bob Bradley shouts instructions during a Stabaek game

AMSTERDAM – Bob Bradley's streaking Stabaek enjoyed a Wednesday night stroll through the NM Cupen second round, with Cole Grossman working 70 midfield minutes in a 3-1 away victory over mites KFUM.

The Blue Ones, who were already safely up three goals by the time Grossman departed, would eventually see their shutout streak across all competitions ended at 537 minutes. Nevertheless, Bradley's boys did stretch their overall winning run to six games.

Elsewhere, Rhett Bernstein saw a controversial red card at the half-hour mark, but 10-man Mjondalen rallied late for the 2-2 equalizer to force extras before besting home side Orn Horten 4-3 on penalty kicks.

The center back was ruled to have hauled down Alexander Teklemariam, but Mjondalen boss made it known shortly after the match that he was pondering an appeal. "It was just a challenge and suddenly he falls over," Bernstein told reporters. "The referee was badly positioned."

Zarek Valentin ably held down the fort at right back as Bodo/Glimt advanced to the third round with a leave-it-late, 1-0 victory away to third-flight Mjolner.

Finally, Alex DeJohn and IK Start were unceremoniously bounced after falling apart in the second half of a shock 4-0 loss at third division side Vindbjart.
