There are highlights, and then there are HIGHLIGHTS.

And the fine folks at ColoradoRapids.com put together a video that falls under the latter category from their 1-1 draw Friday night with FC Dallas at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.

Shot entirely at the field level, dramatic angles, close-up shots, clips from the over-the-top GOOOALLL! calls from the UDN broadcasting crew, cuts to crazy fans and clever video editing all make the above clip a worthy watch. And there are plenty of different views of both goals scored, a 31st-minute Mauro Diaz strike and a 79th-minute equalizer from the Rapids’ Nick LaBrocca.
