It’s never too late to enjoy some Fantasy MLS.
Some of you received emails Monday notifying you that our friends at Yahoo! have shut down their fantasy MLS league to focus on their Fantasy Sports app. Others may have just missed the early-season sign-up deadline in March but are still interested in the game.
Fear not; we’ve created a league for all of you. We’re calling it the Fashionably Late league and it’s now accepting new members (use Private League Code 3414-5341 or join directly with this link).
You may be worried that it’s too late to jump into the fantasy pool. However, signing up for this league will allow you to compete against other fantasy managers who have signed up at the same time, ensuring a level playing field through the end of the season.
You might even have a leg up on some other managers -- with seven rounds in the books, you’ll have a lot better idea which players to select. It’s like starting out the season with a free wildcard!
To get started, simply go to fantasy.mlssoccer.com and hit the Start Playing button. You’ll be prompted to select your opening roster. Once you’re finished with that and have saved your team, click on Leagues from the navigation menu. If you’ve used the direct link, you’ll already be in the Fashionably Late league. If you found the MLS Fantasy website in any other way, just click Join Private League and enter the league code: 3414-5341.
