Canada's Under-18 national team is set to play in the Slovakia Cup April 15-25, and two-thirds of the roster will come from MLS academies.

The Canadian Soccer Association released the roster on Thursday, with Canada scheduled to face Slovakia, China and Poland in the tournament.

Last year's Canadian U-17 Player of the Year, Côte d’Ivoire native and midfielder Ballou Jean-Yves Tabla, was part of Canada's squad at the 2015 CONCACAF U-17 Championship (pictured above) and has since joined the Montreal Impact academy.

Toronto FC academy midfielder Luca Uccello has appeared in all three Toronto FC II games this year in the United Soccer League, starting two. Toronto FC academy defender Marcus Godinho has made two USL appearances. Uccello, Godinho, fellow Toronto FC academy defender Mateo Restrepo and FC Dallas academy defender Eric Davies all competed at the 2014 Generation adidas Cup.

Forward Aymar Sigue, a product of the Vancouver Whitecaps' residency program, has already completed his freshman season at the University of Tulsa, where he produced a goal and two assists and helped the Golden Hurricane to the American Athletic Conference championship last fall.
