The Montreal Impact and San Jose Earthquakes have rescheduled their April 25 league meeting, allowing the Impact to train their full focus on their CONCACAF Champions League final clash against Club America that week.

MLS announced on Thursday that the Montreal vs. San Jose match has been moved to Wednesday, September 16, at 10:30 pm ET, due to the Canadian side's two-legged cup final matchup with the Mexican giants on April 22 (9 pm ET) and April 29 (8 pm ET).

Montreal will travel to Mexico City for the first leg at Estadio Azteca, then return home to Quebec to host the decisive second leg at Olympic Stadium.

The Impact sold more than 20,000 tickets to their home leg in the first 12 hours of sales and a capacity crowd is expected at the massive venue.
