Montreal Impact to host CONCACAF Champions League final second leg on April 29 at Olympic Stadium

The Big O will be rocking in three weeks.


After eliminating Alajuelense in the semifinals Tuesday night in Costa Rica, the Montreal Impact will host the decisive match of the Champions League final on April 29 at Olympic Stadium (8 pm ET).


The Impact will face the winner of Mexico's Club America and Costa Rica's Herediano, who take the field at Estadio Azteca on Wednesday night (10 pm ET; FOX Sports 2 and UDN in the US, Sportsnet World in Canada). Herediano took the first leg of the semifinal series by a 3-0 scoreline.



The Impact will have home-field advantage as the higher seed in the final thanks to the victory against Alajuelense, who held the first seed in the semifinals after eliminating D.C. United in the quarterfinals.


The Impact became the first Canadian club and the second in MLS history to reach the Champions League finals. The winner of the tournament will qualify for the FIFA Club World Cup.
