In the social media world that we live in, color us surprised that this already isn’t a thing.
While still a hypothetical, Juan Futbol recently revealed just what soccer jerseys sponsored by social media companies could look like. Even using the specific styles of Nike and adidas design, the write-up provides a host of jersey mock-ups. Twitter FC, sure. Spotify SC, why not. WhatsApp FC…also qualifies as a social media platform.
Considering these are all actual companies, a social media kit sponsorship seems like it will happen sooner rather than later. And if a crime author can land a jersey sponsorship, why not?
What would really impress us is if a Dom Dwyer Twitter selfie actually appears on the jersey.
Or a real-time updating Instagram feed. Now that would be something.
