Goal of the Matchday

Seattle Sounders, Clint Dempsey's pass-and-move golazo wins 2015's first AT&T Goal of the Week award

The New England Revolution had no answer for the skill and movement of Clint Dempsey and his Seattle Sounders teammates on Sunday, and neither did the competition in the opening AT&T Goal of the Week race of 2015.

Dempsey's tap-in, the culmination of a delicious passing combination that left the Revs defense helpless, won this week's popular vote with 38.17 percent of ballots cast. New York Red Bulls winger Lloyd Sam's wicked rocket finished in second place.

Mix Diskerud's curling effort vs. Orlando City, the first MLS goal in New York City FC history, came in third, followed by Toronto FC newcomer Jozy Altidore and LA Galaxy star Robbie Keane.
