American Exports: Geoff Cameron and Stoke top Tim Howard's Everton in midweek action

AMSTERDAM – Geoff Cameron contributed a big center back effort as an early injury sub on Wednesday, helping Stoke City run their Premier League win streak to three games with a 2-0 blanking of USMNT goalkeeper Tim Howard and Everton.

The US handyman replaced Philipp Wollscheid in the 17th minute to rack up a team-high nine clearances, four pass interceptions, three tackles and two shot blocks. Despite attempting just 18 passes, Cameron connected six of them for forward gains in or into the attacking half.
