American Exports: Danish club Aalborg have not interviewed Stabæk's Bob Bradley, sources confirm

AMSTERDAM – Multiple sources have confirmed to MLSsoccer.com that Superliga side Aalborg have not interviewed Stabæk boss Bob Bradley for their impending manager vacancy, as was reported by the Danish daily BT on Tuesday.

While two sources close to the situation rejected the report, AaB technical director Allan Gaarde declined to comment on whether Bradley was on their browsing list.

"As we are listed on the stock market, we can neither confirm nor deny that we have any interest in Bob Bradley," the Aalborg executive told MLSsoccer.com by email.

Bradley is currently leading the Blue Ones through a preseason appearance at the Simple Invitational in Portland. After drawing with the Chicago Fire and falling to the Vancouver Whitecaps, Stabæk will close their trip against the Timbers on Saturday.

Shortly after parking promoted Stabæk comfortably clear of the relegation fight in ninth place at the end of last season, the 56-year-old former US national team head coach rejected an offer to manage Swedish giants IFK Göteborg. Bradley's contract does expire at the end of the 2015 season, but for now his sights are surely trained on Stabæk's April 6 Tippeligaen opener against visiting Haugesund.

Aalborg, who currently stand fifth in their league table (the Danish season runs August-May), were bounced out of the Europa League by Club Brugge on Thursday night. Manager Kent Nielsen will be leaving at season's end to take the reins at Odense.
