Geoff Cameron, Stoke City (January 1, 2015)

AMSTERDAM – Stoke City handyman Geoff Cameron hopped off the bench to set up the visitors' last-gasp equalizer in a 1-1 Premier League draw at Newcastle on Sunday.

The US international entered the contest in the 51st minute to play right back, giving him enough time to make a handful of plays on both sides of the ball. In the first minute of stoppage time, Cameron ran the flank to pick a cross out for fellow sub Peter Crouch, who obliged with the game-tying header.

In addition to notching his first assist of the season, Cameron completed eight other forward passes in or into the attacking half. He also managed two clearances and two pass picks at the defensive end. The result pushed 10th-place Stoke's unbeaten run to three games.

Over in the Bundesliga, Timothy Chandler's active display helped Eintracht Frankfurt rally from two down for a 2-2 share at Augsburg.

The right back logged a game-high five tackles and set up a pair of chances in a strong passing shift. Chandler also saw yellow as ninth place Eintracht's win drought reached six league matches.
