Mexico announce March friendly matches against Ecuador, Paraguay in LA, Kansas City

Mexico celebrate scoring against the Netherlands

As they look ahead to a busy summer that includes both the CONCACAF Gold Cup and the CONMEBOL Copa América, Mexico will play two friendly matches on US soil in late March, the Federación Mexicana de Fútbol and Soccer United Marketing announced Thursday.


Mexico will face Ecuador on Saturday, March 28, at the LA Coliseum at 9:30 pm ET. El Tri will then decamp to the Midwest to face Paraguay on Tuesday, March 31, at Kansas City's Arrowhead Stadium at 9 pm ET.



Mexico are preparing for the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup, which will be played in the US and Canada July 7-26, and are expected to add additional spring matches in the US.


Tickets for the LA Coliseum game will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, Jan. 27, at 1 pm ET. Tickets for the Kansas City game will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, Feb. 12, at 11 am ET. Tickets to both games will be available via Ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-800-745-3000.
