San Jose Earthquakes' SuperDraft pick Keasel Broome is the "Dancin 'Keeper" | SIDELINE

Keasel Broom San Jose Earthquakes goalkeeper

Keasel Broome is one soccer player who has his backup plan all figured out.

The former Providence goalkeeper, taken by the San Jose Earthquakes with the fourth pick of the third round Tuesday of the MLS SuperDraft (46th overall), flashes some impressive dance moves following a shootout save in a YouTube video posted in February of last year.

A Dancing With The Stars appearance is clearly in his future. At the very least, should he not make the cut with the Quakes, a career as a dancing instructor could be in the cards.

Not to say he’s not up to the task of thriving in MLS; Broome, a product of the famed FC Delco academy, started all 22 of Providence’s matches last season, leading the Friars to their first College Cup semifinal.

Maybe Jerzy Dudek finally has a worthy successor.
