Goalkeeper Sean Murdoch proposal

Go big or go home.

That seems to be the approach taken by former Scottish Premier League goalkeeper Sean Murdoch, who enlisted the help of six professional dancers to propose to his girlfriend, Charissa Ferguson, in Times Square on Dec. 18.

With a crowd gathered as the dancers performed to the Bruno Mars song "Marry You," Murdoch certainly took Ferguson by surprise when he joined the dancers partway through, even showing off a few moves despite towering over the others from his 6-foot-2 height.

Murdoch, 28, has played for several Scottish clubs, including Dunfermline Athletic, Hamilton Academical and Hibernian. After leaving Hibernian at the end of the 2014 season, his Twitter profile says he is "currently training with New York City FC," while his LinkedIn profile lists him with NPSL club Clarkstown Eagles.

Oh, and by the way, she said, "Yes."
