American Exports: Geoff Cameron, Stoke City fall 2-0 at home in Premier League clash with Chelsea

Geoff Cameron

AMSTERDAM – The home struggles continued for Geoff Cameron and Stoke City in a 2-0 loss to Premier League leaders Chelsea on Monday night.

The contest did not start well for the US international, who was beaten by John Terry for a corner kick strike in just the second minute. The Potters defensive midfielder would exit stage left in the 68th minute, having passed decently in possession while having a tougher time helping to contain the Blues attack.

With but one win in their last five at the Britannia, Stoke enter the holiday fixture crush just four points above the relegation zone, in 13th place.
