Clyde Simms still needs your help.

Simms, always a battler on the field during his nine years in MLS with the New England Revolution and D.C. United, has been battling kidney disease ever since retiring from soccer. And despite receiving a kidney transplant last week, he is still being forced to fight.

Due to complications from the surgery, Simms is now in need of another kidney transplant.

Simms was originally diagnosed with a form of kidney disease called Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis. The average wait for a suitable kidney is four years, though many patients can't wait that long before needing to go on dialysis. Simms is already at that point.
