Top 5: Thierry Henry's best goals from his New York Red Bulls days | SIDELINE

Thierry Henry

Thierry Henry's career is littered with remarkable, memorable goals scored for each and every club of his legendary career. Despite coming to MLS at the age of 32, he still had more than a few left when he signed for the New York Red Bulls in 2010.

We'll say this for Henry: He was an equal opportunist concerning which teams he posterized with spectacular goals. My top 5 Henry goals from his Red Bulls days:

No. 5: Sept. 6, 2014 — The long-range blast vs. Sporting Kansas City

He's probably scored this goal 20 or 30 times in his career. He did it this time at age 37.

No. 4: Sept. 29, 2012 — The lob vs. Toronto FC

Actually my personal favorite, but it's just so, so, so easy for Henry that I can't, in good faith, rank it any higher.

No. 3: Sept. 15, 2012 — The Olimpico vs. Columbus Crew

He meant to do that. He meant to do that. Goalkeeper Matt Lampson must have forgotten who he was dealing with.

No. 2: Oct. 27, 2013 — The half-volley vs. Chicago Fire

The goal that helped win the Red Bulls' only trophy of Henry's tenure. Just look at it.

No. 1: May 8, 2013 — The bicycle kick vs. Montreal Impact

While the legs may have slowed a tad of late, the mind certainly hasn't. Pinpoint placement, on a bicycle kick.
