New York City FC unveiled their inaugural jersey on Thursday morning at an event held at a local New York City midtown establishment (video above).
The primary jersey, decked in "City Blue," features the NYCFC word mark on the inside neck tape. The back neck will have NYCFC print, and there is also an "Inaugural Season" tag on the lower left corner of the jersey.
Across the front of the shirt is jersey sponsor Etihad Airways, which announced a five-year partnership with the club.
"It's a perfect jersey for our first year," NYCFC star David Villa said at the event. "We hope it brings a lot of luck and a lot of success."
Fellow 2015 expansion side Orlando City unveiled their uniform last week, prominently featuring the color purple. Check out the OCSC shirt here.
