WATCH: USMNT call-up Miguel Ibarra scores with an inventive, sky-high chip over goalkeeper | SIDELINE

Miguel Ibarra for Minnesota United

Following his US national team debut last month, 24-year-old forward Miguel Ibarra earned himself another USMNT call-up for a pair of friendlies against Colombia and the Republic of Ireland.

Ibarra surely already knew about his upcoming trip to London and Dublin, so the goal he scored Saturday night for his club team, Minnesota United FC, wasn't as much a resume-builder as it was a celebration and showcasing of his national-team level talent.

Late in the first half against Fort Lauderdale, Ibarra went solo against a defender and goalkeeper and he scored in about the only way possible: with a chip roughly 20 feet into the air, up and over the 'keeper who suddenly found himself in no man's land (queue up to the 2:10 mark in the video below).

Yes, pretty poor defending and goalkeeping. But how much credit do you give Ibarra for the inventive finish? Let us know in the comments section below.
