Major League Soccer issues statement on Columbus Crew player Daniel Paladini

On Wednesday, October 29, Major League Soccer was informed by the Columbus Crew that the police were called to the home of Columbus Crew midfielder Daniel Paladini Tuesday evening because of a reported domestic dispute.


No arrest was made and an investigation is continuing. The League suspended the player with pay on Wednesday from all club activities pending further developments.


Both the League and the Crew are cooperating with local authorities.
