Usually when a rookie steps in front of a green screen and attempts to do live camerawork, it's must-see, cringeworthy television at its very
best
worst, but Frei didn't seem at all phased by the tricky task at hand.
It was really great work, until the regular weather reporter asked Frei to pantomime "some soccer moves" in front of a picture of a small dog named Chewie. Frei, being the polite guest, obliged and proceded to "make saves" with Chewie in the background.
If you were wondering, Frei says to expect temperatures in the mid-60s for Saturday's Supporters Shield showdown (2:30 pm ET; NBC in the US, TSN2 in Canada) with some cloud cover and the sun trying to break through.
