Real Salt Lake's Nick Rimando claims league-best fifth Save of the Week award with point-blank denial

Nick Rimando (Real Salt Lake) punches the ball away in a game at Portland

It was all Nick Rimando in Week 32's Save of the Week race.

Rimando collected the second-to-last Save of the Week award and his league-best fifth of the season for his superb point-blank denial of Darlington Nagbe in Real Salt Lake's scoreless draw away to the Portland Timbers. The jaw-dropping, 61st-minute stop earned nearly 46 percent of the vote.

While the veteran goalkeeper had a save finish in first place this week, he had another come in second. Rimando's first-half block on Rodney Wallace gathered almost 35 percent, giving his two parries approximately a combined 80 percent of the votes.
