American Exports: Mix Diskerud back to full speed for Rosenborg after early weekend exit

Mix Diskerud, Rosenborg

AMSTERDAM – Nicked Rosenborg midfielder Mikkel Diskerud returned to training on Wednesday and is expected to be available for selection when they host Sandnes Ulf in Tippeligaen action on Sunday.

The US international left the Troll Kids' 3-2 weekend victory over nearby rivals Vålerenga after just 36 minutes with a cut on his thigh.

"He trained [as] normal today," RBK press officer Harald Pedersen told MLSsoccer.com. "He had to rest a couple days, but I think he will be prepared to play on Sunday. It was just a slash on top of his leg; there is no serious damage."

With three matches left in the season, Rosenborg have a four-point edge for Norway's last Europa league qualifying berth over defending champs Strømsgodset, who will be their guests on closing day.
