AMSTERDAM – Terrence Boyd made his return from injury on Friday night, working 29 minutes off the bench in RB Leipzig's 1-0 defeat away to FC Nürnberg.
Making a delayed Red Bulls debut, Boyd put in a fairly quiet shift. With six minutes remaining, a Leipzig cross into the box narrowly missed connecting with the US forward.
Due to their first loss in four, the fourth-place visitors missed a chance to pull level on points with Alfredo Morales’ table-topping FC Ingolstadt in 2.Bundesliga.
