Back in August, the first ever Chipotle MLS Homegrown Game was played as part of the festivities surrounding the 2014 AT&T MLS All-Star Game in Portland.
The game ended a rather uneventful 0-0 draw, but that scoreline doesn't even begin to depict the 24 to 36 hours many of its Homegrown participants spent in the Rose City.
This week, Chipotle released a short series of behind-the scenes footage from the Homegown Game, which featured a number of MLS stars of the present and perhaps a few for their respective national teams in the future.
So how does a group of young players come together and forge a gameplan with only 24 hours to do so? What do today's stars of MLS think of the Homegrown initiative? All relevant questions, and ones covered in the series.
