MLS Fantasy Advice: Popular captain picks despite long list of international call ups – who will it be for you?

TRANSFER DEADLINE: Wednesday, 730 pm ET

Who is your captain for Round 31?

Houston, Toronto and San Jose all have a double-game-week in Round 31 of MLS Fantasy, and as was the case last week with Chicago, managers have been keen on adding players from each of these teams.

Seven of the top eight transfers IN are from a DGW team, with Diego Valeri being the only exception.

If you were impatient with your transfers – like me – you probably added San Jose forward Chris Wondolowski, who wasn't selected to the US men's national team for friendlies until a day after the initial roster was released.

On the plus side, guys like Obafemi Martins and Clint Dempsey are staying put. Bradley Wright-Phillips is playing against Toronto in a must-win game. And Dom Dwyer takes on Chicago, a team that's already been officially eliminated from the playoffs. On top of that, all four of these players are at home this week.

So, while some assumed captain selections would be limited with the ridiculous amount of players called up for international duty, there are more than a handful of decent options out there to choose from. Who will it be?

Vote for your top choice in the poll and tell us why you picked them in the comments below. Here are the top 10 transfers in for this week along with my picks below. Good luck everyone!
