AMSTERDAM – On-loan winger Julian Green returned to full Hamburg training on Monday, with the struggling Bundesliga side hoping he will be available when they visit Joe Gyau's Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.
Green suffered a knock to the right side of his ribcage during last Monday's practice session and was forced to sit out a pair of one-goal defeats this week, first away to Fabian Johnson and Borussia Mönchengladbach in midweek and then against Timothy Chandler's Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday.

"Julian trained already on Monday with the team," HSV press liaison Tobias Hauke told MLSsoccer.com on Tuesday." "He will train today as well."
Green has made two league appearances for the cellar-dwellers since arriving on loan from Bayern Munich near last month's transfer deadline. Though Hamburg finally broke their season scoring drought against Eintracht this weekend, they still set a dubious record with 507 scoreless minutes to open Bundesliga play.
