MLS Fantasy Advice: Are Obafemi Martins and Clint Dempsey the clear-cut favorites for captain this week?

It couldn't be any more obvious that this week in MLS Fantasy is all about rave green, with six of the top seven transfers IN coming from the Seattle Sounders.

Just as important - and maybe even more important - than deciding which players to bring in will be the selection of your captain.

This week it seems like everyone is focused on either Obafemi Martins or Clint Dempsey. They are by far the most popular additions this week, along with Lamar Neagle and Stefan Frei.

But even with Seattle being the only team on a double-game-week, who to captain in Round 29 isn't that cut and dry.

Chivas USA sounds like a great matchup on paper, but if head coach Sigi Schmid decides to go all out against FC Dallas on Wednesday and rest his team on the weekend against a weaker opponent, you could be relying on Dempsey and Martins to do all their work in a midweek game on the road against the fourth-ranked team in the west.

I'm expecting Dempsey and Martins to get a little time against Chivas with the game being held at CenturyLink, but don't look for either of them to go the full 90 minutes.
