What's the greatest rivalry in MLS today?
It's a pretty bold statement.
Although many typically turn to Cascadia when seeking out the greatest rivalry in MLS, the LA Galaxy are pretty sure that it lies a bit south. Although they're obviously biased, the Galaxy claim the California Clasico rules the roost when it comes to the rivalry department (see tweets below).
But it turns out it's a fact-based opinion: The Galaxy's Twitter feed cited the six MLS Cups in the history of the two clubs (Galaxy: '02, '05, '11, '12 / Earthquakes: '01, '03).
