Who is your captain for Round 27?
With only seven weeks left in the 2014 MLS Fantasy season we're closing in on what will likely be the highest scoring round from here on out.
Over the last three weeks we've had the highest point totals of 2014, and with five teams on a double-game-week in Round 27, there's little reason to think we won't see similar numbers again.
Only six teams have a DGW in the final six rounds so this is the week to use your Wildcard if you haven't done so already. Get your transfers confirmed and finalize your captain selection. It's going to be a fun week!
A lot of fantasy owners will be sticking with Landon Donovan as their captain this week after scores of 13, 11, 15, 14 and 22 points in his last five games. It's hard to argue against it.
However, with LA traveling to both Montreal and San Jose, and with LD playing 81 or minutes in all but one of his last 17 games, rest has to become a factor at some point.
Will Donovan start and play significant minutes in both games this round? Only Bruce Arena knows the answer to that.
