Sports can often bring a group of people together in a way that other parts of life simply can't.
How often do you see 100,000 people assemble in one location, come together for a common goal and celebrate and/or commiserate with complete strangers?
On Saturday, the University of Notre Dame student section attempted to come together in this way and show their school pride with a giant tifo display representing the flag of Ireland before the Fighting Irish dismantled Michigan 31-0.
Instead, they failed quite spectacularly.
A word of advice: Stay in school, kids. And probably start going to class, too.
