LA Galaxy's Landon Donovan wins second MLS Player of the Week award of 2014

Another impressive week for Landon Donovan, and another award for his trophy case.

The LA Galaxy star was voted Major League Soccer Player of the Week by the North American Soccer Reporters (NASR) for Week 25 on Tuesday after he racked up a goal and three assists in the Galaxy’s two wins over D.C. United (4-1) and Chivas USA (3-0).

This is the second Player of the Week honor this season for Donovan, who topped teammate Gyasi Zardes in the voting.

The MLS Player of the Week is selected each week of the regular season by a panel of journalists from NASR. The group consists of members of print, television, radio and online media. More information and membership information can be found here.
