Real Salt Lake coach Jeff Cassar shows serious self-control in tempered goal celebration | SIDELINE

Jeff Cassar, RSL head coach

Real Salt Lake head coach Jeff Cassar was an extremely conflicted man internally on Wednesday.

After
Joao Plata
gave his side a 1-0 lead over the
New York Red Bulls
with a fantastic curling effort (

), Cassar wanted to go all out and break it down with his best dance moves, but he restrained himself and ended up with the extremely awkward celebration

shuffle
pose
slow-motion fist pump you see above.

The internal conflict starts right about the time Cassar goes into a crouch and raises his fists into the air. The hips begin to wiggle, but he thinks better of it.

It hits him: "We're not even 20 minutes into this game. We've got a long way to go. We're on national TV. I better not show these fools what's up just yet."

And he was right to do so. Thierry Henry calmly equalized shortly after halftime (WATCH HERE) — as he does those kind of things often — and the game ended a 1-1 draw. A decent result for both sides.

We applaud you for showing such wise restraint, Mr. Cassar, but we still most definitely wish you hadn't.
