Castrol Index Weekly Top 20: Toronto FC's Jackson sprints his way to top spot in Week 20

During the course of a successful rebuild, it's important to bring in big stars, but it's also important to stock the team with experienced players. 

Toronto FC, in the midst of their grand project in 2014, may have found the formula to get to the MLS Cup playoffs, and in Week 20, it was one of those experienced names, Jackson, who set himself apart on the Castrol Index Weekly Top 20.

The veteran Brazilian scored in a 2-1 loss to Sporting Kansas City, and grabbed the No. 1 rank for the week with his performance. Behind him at the top in Week 20 are Chris Wondolowski (No. 2), who had a goal and an assist in the San Jose Earthquakes' 5-1 rout of the Chicago Fire, and Colorado Rapids goalkeeper Clint Irwin (No. 3), who helped preserve a clean sheet in a 3-0 win over Chivas USA.

Rounding out the Top 5 are Javier Morales (No. 4), who set up the winner and insurance tally in Real Salt Lake's 3-1 win over the Montreal Impact, and the Vancouver Whitecaps' Sebastian Fernandez (No. 5), helping his team to an unprecedented number of shots in a 2-2 draw against FC Dallas.
