American Exports: Bob Bradley's Stabaek break losing streak in 1-1 draw vs. SK Brann

AMSTERDAM – Bob Bradley's Stabaek snapped a five-game losing slide on Friday, but were forced to settle for a 1-1 home draw after trading last-minute goals with SK Brann.

Michael Stephens worked 64 minutes in midfield for the Blue Ones, helping them amass a dominant 58-42 percent edge in possession. The former LA Galaxy man was involved in several good rushes for the home side, setting up a pair of good chances.

Midway through the opening frame, Stephens combined well in attack with Franck Boli, who was eventually unable to corral the American's final slip pass into the area. Just after the break, the American lobbed Fredrik Brustad into the Brann box, only to watch the away goalkeeper deny his teammate with a fine save.

The result, which made Stabaek the last Tippeligaen club to post a draw on the season, tentatively lifted them into ninth place.
