Who will win the Golden Boot?

Take An Inch, Save A PK

The World Cup is over, but there's still time for one final look back. Not before some MLS talk, though, and Fire goalkeeper Sean Johnson just happened to drop by for a discussion about the year of the draw in Chicago, his national team hopes and Tim Howard's legacy. Andrew also christens Obafemi Martins the most important player in MLS, David tells Bradley Wright-Phillips how he can properly thank Thierry Henry and Simon says Clint Dempsey can still will the Golden Boot.

Meanwhile, there was one last World Cup match to be played in Brazil, and Germany came away champions. Deserved? Sure. But was there really fire in the bellies of the finalists? Simon says no, and he also has a bit of an issue with Jurgen Klinsmann's support for his former charges. Finally, Alex Abnos of Howler joins the guys from Rio de Janeiro after being mugged at gunpoint just feet from his hostel.

Simon's hair-brained scheme to improve the MLS schedule stolen? So says one listener in Brooklyn. You be the judge. Email us at ExtraTime@MLSsoccer.com or tweet us at @ExtraTimeRadio. And make sure you check out our West Coast brethren at March to the Match every Wednesday!
