US Ambassador Matthew Barzun is either supremely confident that the US national team will beat Belgium on Tuesday afternoon. Or he isn't that particular about his breakfast choices.
On Tuesday, Barzun, the US ambassador to the UK, tweeted out a photo of a note he sent to his Belgian counterpart, Ambassador Guy Trouveroy. The note was a bet about the match.
A US win, and Trouveroy must make waffles for Barzun and his team. A Belgian win and Barzun will make pancakes for Trouveroy & Co.
