Defending champions Spain crashed out of the FIFA World Cup on Wednesday. This was an overwhelmingly unexpected situation -- by most, at least -- and it had a massive effect on soccer fans' World Cup brackets.
How big an effect?
Well, about 12% of players -- or roughly 1 in 8 -- in the Brazil Bracket Challenge, presented by Capri Sun, predicted Spain would repeat as champions. If you're one of them, you probably feel like Iker Casillas today.
But if you just had them getting out of the group in your bracket, don't worry. You're one of the 98% that had the same thing. So it's basically a wash.
