Week 15 was a light week in MLS, with just two games taking place before the league break during the World Cup group stage. Still, among the four teams that participated, it was the Portland Timbers that dominated the upper end of the Castrol Index Weekly Top 20.
Timbers defender Pa Modou Kah took the top ranking overall for the week, after scoring the equalizer late in stoppage time in Portland's 2-2 draw against FC Dallas. Kah was joined in the Top 5 by teammates Diego Valeri (No. 2) and Fanendo Adi (No. 4), with Dallas forward Fabián Castillo (No. 3) representing the visitors from that game.
The only player from the other game of the week to crack the Top 5 was D.C. United midfielder Nick DeLeon (No. 5), who had a goal in a 4-2 road win over the Montreal Impact.
