World Cup: Were Mexico robbed vs. Cameroon? Giovani dos Santos waved for offside twice

Mexico manager Miguel Herrera challenges referee Wilmer Roldan after a second disallowed goal in Friday's first half.

If you know someone who's a Mexico national team fan, give them a hug or buy them a beer. They'll need it after what happened in the first half on Friday against Cameroon in their World Cup opener.

Forward Giovani dos Santos scored two goals and both were denied for offside calls that were frankly non-existent. The first one came in the 11th minute and the second in the 29th minute. Watch GIFs of both incidents below.

And then there was the penalty kick dos Santos thought he earned just before the break (WATCH it here). No dice on that one, either.

In case you're wondering, the head referee was Colombian Wilmer Roldan and the assistant referee who flagged both offsides was his compatriot, Humberto Clavijo.
