Seattle Sounders' Marco Pappa heads to wrong bench on return to Chicago | SIDELINE

Seattle Sounders' Marco Pappa goes the wrong way after subbing off against Chicago Fire.

Marco Pappa must have some serious muscle memory when it comes to Toyota Park.

The former Chicago Fire star, who now plays for the Seattle Sounders, returned to the Windy City on Saturday for the first time since leaving the Fire in 2012 for a stint in Holland. After subbing off in the 79th minute of what would eventually be a 3-2 victory for his Sounders, Pappa seemed to forget that he no longer plays for the Fire. Instead of turning right to go to the visitors' bench, he initially turned left and headed toward the obviously more familiar Fire bench.

Credit to the folks at 8BitSports.com for noticing (and first GIF-ing) the moment when Pappa realizes his mistake -- right in front of Fire star Mike Magee, you'll notice -- turns around and heads to the Sounders' side. Even the Fire fans got a chuckle out of the moment.
