MLS WORKS

MLS WORKS Weekly Highlights 5/24-5/30

MLS history was made last weekend by none other than LA Galaxy star, Landon Donovan, who showed his mental toughness after being thrust into the spotlight last week following the U.S. Men’s National Team announcement.  During LA’s match against the Union, Donovan broke the record for MLS goals scored with his 137th goal.  Meanwhile,  the USMNT continues to prepare for the “Group of Death” as they enter the second match of their send-off series. Following Tuesday’s win over Azerbaijan, the United States will take on Turkey in an international friendly at Red Bull Arena.  Before you prepare for a weekend of MLS and USMNT action, don’t forget to take a look at how your favorite clubs are making a difference.
