Jurgen Klinsmann applauds prior to the USMNT-Mexico friendly

ESPN’s Inside: US Soccer's March to Brazil continues Thursday night at 7 pm ET with episode No. 3, featuring perhaps the most compelling subject matter of the six-part series.

This time, the unprecedented access granted to 30 for 30 Films' Jonathan Hock and ESPNFC's Roger Bennett details the US national team camp after head coach Jurgen Klinsmann made his final roster decision, controversially leaving out Landon Donovan.

The trailer (above) shows Klinsmann addressing the team for the first time after the decision.

“The coaches kind of tried to time it the right way,” Klinsmann said in the video. “When you give somebody a negative message, there’s never the right timing, there’s never the right place, it’s never the right way of saying it because a player that you tell, you’re not part of that going forward now, or most likely not, it’s a bitter pill to swallow. It’s not easy, not even on the coach.”

The television premiere schedule for the rest of the series is below.
