DeAndre Yedlin may have been one of the most surprising names to survive the cut for the US national team's 23-man roster for the World Cup. But that doesn't mean he's going to take his chances quietly.
Nope. He's coming at opponents...like a wrecking ball.
At least, that's the impression when watching the Seattle Sounders defender body up Ufuk Budak in Tuesday's 2-0 USMNT win over Azerbaijan, in slow motion, while set to a certain Miley Cyrus hit (watch below).

The result? Pure American spirit. After all, the combination of men violently colliding in an athletic contest while listening to bubblegum pop music is as American as, well, you know.
Little wonder Budak needed a minute to recover from Yedlin's ferocious charge.
